wacsi_logo__1_The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) will be organizing three specially designed courses on Policy Advocacy for civil society actors including those in NGOs, FBOs, CBOs, Women’s Organization, Youth Networks, Trade Unions, Association, development partners and policymakers as follow:

  • Introduction to Policy Advocacy and Engagement for CSOs in West Africa (IPA)  – MAY 13 – 15, 2013.
  • Networking and Alliance Building Training for CSOs in West Africa (NAB) – MAY 16 – 17, 2013.
  • Advanced Policy Advocacy and Engagement Training for CSOs and Policymakers in West Africa (APA) – MAY 20 – 23, 2013.

These courses have been designed to deepen CSOs and development practitioners’ understanding in the concept(s) and practice of policy advocacy and to enable them design and implement effective advocacy campaigns, as well be dynamic in creating, maintaining and sustaining strategic partnerships/networks. For more information on these courses and available discounts, please read the attached call for application.
