Winners of the IMAP Youth Concert Talent Hunt Competition held at the Water Park Entertainment Center Lagos on Saturday 26th January 2013, have emerged. 21 year old Nnaji Victor Chiemerie from Enugu came first in the music and song category with 142 points. Victor delivered a song titled: “Nigeria My Own” originally composed and rendered in Blues to clinch the closely contested competition in that category.

22 year old Joy Nwanokam from Lagos won the first position prize in Poetry with 139 points.

Wisdom Nwabueze from Lagos won the Stand-up Comedy category under the stage name Wyze One with 161 points. ‘Wyze One’ who painted the dangerous pictures in satirical and comical forms, depicted the frustrations of many young Nigerians who embark on illegal migrations out of Nigeria, got both  the jury and audience rolling on the floor with laughter.

11 year old Abore Timilehin won the best position in Motivational Speaking category with 126 points. Abore’s ingenuity with crafting and use of words, masterly rendition, delivery and intonation got her to the top position in the category.

19 year old Andrea Agomoh won the fashion category with her intricate designs and trendy thoughts. She clinched the best position trophy with 134 points. The jury was enthused by Andrea’s eye in the future and unanimously upheld her as the best talent in the fashion category of IMAP Youth Concert Talent Hunt competition 2013.

21 year old Young Fashina Abiodun took the lead in the instantaneous sketching, drawing and painting

category. Fashina’s stand-up art sketch of a man titled: “What is Your Mood Today” got him 132 points to pull the day.

Presenting the Awards to the winners, one of most accomplished female doyens of Nollywood movies;

Joke Silva petitioned the Nigerian youths to say no to illegal migration since the negative effects are quite huge.
